Marketing Manager
We are in search of a full-time Marketing Manager to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate has prior experience in the yachting industry and can think outside the box of boilerplate marketing strategies.
The ideal candidate should also be skilled in email marketing, public relations, social media, branding, content creation, presentations, and event coordination. The candidate should also have impeccable written and oral communication skills in English - and ideally in Spanish as well. The candidate should be capable of juggling various projects simultaneously and possess strong professional acumen. The role entails both a B2B and B2C focus, with a wide range of marketing projects.
The position will coordinate, research, and interact with photographers, multimedia creators, content writers, graphic designers, web developers and yacht brokers.
The Marketing Manager will also assist with planning and executing company events and marketing initiatives at global yacht shows and other UHNW events. Further, this person should also have be able to create and nurture partnerships, collaborations with media outlets, luxury brands, and influencers.
Responsibilities:
- Coordinate all marketing efforts, strategies, and initiatives.
- Coordinate partnerships and collaborations with brands, media and influencers.
- Coordinate with the existing social media team.
- Create and launch effective email marketing campaigns and track results.
- Create an editorial calendar for digital platforms.
- Plan and schedule promotions on digital platforms.
- Coordinate our participation in major boat shows.
- Assist with developing website content strategies.
- Create, deliver, edit, and optimize marketing materials.
- Coordinate the creation of brochures and presentations.
- Other duties as assigned.
Required Skills:
- Demonstrate impeccable English writing skills. Spanish is a plus.
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite is preferred.
- Proficiency in Canvas is preferred.
- Ability to maintain a positive and professional demeanor in stressful situations.
- Knowledge of social media platforms including Instagram, YouTube, Pinterest, Twitter, Facebook, TikTok, and others.
- Social Media content writing skills.
- Mandatory knowledge of email marketing platform - Mailchimp.
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite - Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint.
- Able to work in a fast-paced group environment with strong interpersonal skills.
- 4-year BS/BA Degree preferred - Marketing, Communications or Journalism.
- Ability to work cross-functionally with the team at FGI Yacht Group on day-to-day activities that lead to the completion of projects and tasks.
Other Skills:
- Proficient with Mac or PC. Your choice.

- Ability to take and give proper constructive criticism where it is due.
- Must be organized and meticulous.
- Must work well in an office environment and possess a team-oriented attitude.
