Second Caribbean Charter Yacht Show is a Success

The 2nd annual Caribbean Charter Yacht Show drew to a close this weekend at Yacht Haven Grande Marina in St Thomas, U.S. Virgin Islands. The four day event, dedicated to serving the needs of charter and yacht brokers, ran from 8 to 11 December welcoming brokers and clients from around the globe.

The 2022 Caribbean Charter Yacht Show saw almost 100 brokers and managers flock to the fourth time winner of the ‘Superyacht Marina of Year,’ with attendance of yachts up by 30 percent from last year.

The show is held in partnership with the International Yacht Brokers Association (IYBA) and COO Paul Flannery was impressed with the 2022 outcome. “We are all quite pleased with the results of this year's show. We will continue to strive to bring events that meet the needs of the community.”

The show features a luxurious in-person experience for both attendees and crew, with the marina capable of berthing vessels up to 200-metres in length. Some of this year’s attending yachts included the 51.2-metre yacht Helios 2Benetti’s motor yacht Next Chapter and the 24.4-metre sailing yacht Seaclusion.

The Caribbean Charter Yacht Show organisers arranged a diverse range of events for guests to enjoy including nightly entertainment, a variety of cuisines and a crew party on the final evening of the show. The planning process for next year's event is already underway with the show dates due to be released soon.
